Good bye January Hello Febuary

Good bye January hello February hope the new month brings less cold weather at least above zero temperatures. Everybody is doing a great job with their writing I've seen lots of progress since I started in the friendly frogs in November. Homework assignments are going well and I am proud of all the kids in the friendly frogs that work hard on their homework and return it weekly for new assignments. Yesterday we all had lots of fun at our homework party that we earned for reaching 30 assignments turned in we're already up to 14 keep up the great work. Next week we have a fun field trip Wednesday to the Play station in cedar rapids we will be leaving at 915 and returning to school right before lunch. The following week we will be having a valentines day party on Friday February 14th in the morning I'll post a sign up sheet soon for snacks and everybody is welcomed to bring Valentines for the classroom too. I will type up a class list and put it in each child's folder next week.

Gymnest 1-22-14

We had a blast today at the Gymnest! Everybody enjoyed our time their. The foam pit and trampolines were a big hit with everybody. Us teachers were jealous it looked like lots of fun wish we could have joined in the foam pit. This field trip overall was a huge success everybody enjoyed themselves and were able to run off lots of energy. The friendly frogs all napped great today after all our fun.

Next field trip is just weeks away February 5th we will be going to PlayStation, We're excited and I am sure it will be another field trip full of lots of fun and tired kids once we return.

January 20th 2014

What beautiful weather we had Sunday I hope everybody was able to get outside a little and enjoy it because of course the weather channel says more colder weather is coming our way. My count down to spring has began and it isn't going by fast enough.

Good news the friendly frogs earned a homework party we will be having a Friendly Frogs Birthday Party on Thursday January 30th. Our class will enjoy some birthday cupcakes and have fun dancing and tossing balloons around plus have a goodie bag to go home with!

Gymnest field trip is this Wednesday please remember to have your child wear their creation kids t-shirt and leave their Labeled carseat out front.
