Bugs Bugs Bugs

This week we learned about Bugs and the class enjoyed doing different bug art projects through out the week, they also had fun making some edible butterflies on Thursday. I was able to bring in a large box from home and the class enjoyed using it as a tunnel this week pretending to be different types of bugs crawling around.

Next week is a busy week for us as it's Week of the Young Child and we have lots of fun things planned here at creation kids.

Weather Week March 24-28

This week the Friendly frogs enjoyed learning all about weather and listening to stories about all the different types of weather we have. Wednesday we enjoyed a visit from weather man Justin from channel 9 news and everybody was excited to see all the creation kids on T.V. on the six o'clock news that evening. This week we made some suns, clouds, snowflakes and a rainy day picture for art to go along with our theme of weather. We've started listening to our 6 graduation songs and will be starting to work on the lyrics with all the other classroom in the next few weeks. Next week we'll be learning about bugs.
I am glad to finally see nicer weather in our forecast I hope everybody gets a chance to enjoy sometime outside especially Sunday when the forecast is in the low sixty's :)
