Farm animals week

Today started our week of farm animal learning the class enjoyed making muddy pigs with chocolate pudding for art, and at group time we talked about all the different animals you see on a farm. Some of the friendly frogs were very excited to tell friends about farms they have been too!

Jungle/Safari Animals 7-14-14

Today the Friendly frogs started learning about Jungle/Safari animals. The class enjoyed talking about all the different types of animals that live in the Jungle or Safari. Everybody thought it was fun to play with snakes in the sensory table(noddles) and like to pretend to be different animals with our Safari animal masks. Our dramatic play was little people Safari pretending the little people were going on a Safari with different Safari animals to look at. Through out the week we'll continue to learn more about Jungle/Safari animals and read stories about them.
We're enjoying this weather besides swim days then we wish it was warmer. Crazy to think summer is almost over only a month left I am trying not to think about it too much as I am not ready for the friendly frogs to move to other classrooms. Just think in 1 month they will be in the preschool room and in 13 months in Kindergarten time goes by too fast.

What a beautiful morning we had! We spent most of our morning outside riding our bikes and playing on the playground with all our friends! Hopefully Friday is a little warm for swim day it's crazy to be in the second week of July with the high only being in the high 70's low 80's I am hoping next month we don't see a high heat index of 100 like we normal due towards the end of August. We've gotten lucky this summer and the weather hasn't been to horribly humid.
