January 9th 2014

Friendly frogs had a great day! Everybody enjoyed making our special cookies today and thought it was funny at lunch time when everybody ate their black Olympic Ring that their lips and tongues were black. We all are doing much better at tracing our names keep up the good work we're going to continue to work on our names the next couple weeks. To get some exercise today we all had lots of fun having basket races with the other creation kids classrooms. Today just doesn't feel like Thursday after being closed due to the horrible cold weather Monday and Tuesday lets hope that cold weather is behind us I can deal with winter but that was just WAY to cold. We are all hoping that a little bit warmer weather comes our way so we can enjoy ourselves outside.

Friendly Frogs had a great day here are some pictures taken through out our morning. Hope everybody has a great weekend. Stay Warm this weekend and the beginning of next week as the temperatures are suppose to be very cold.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Happy 2014 it's hard to believe 2013 is already over and a new year has began. I hope everybody had a wonderful new years day and got to enjoy the day off. Today the friendly frogs enjoyed making new years crowns and playing dress-up. The class thought it was funny that I joined in on dress-up time we even took some silly pictures together. Brr it's really cold we will not be going outside the next few days as the temperature is suppose to be in the negative digits.  Is it Spring yet? I would be fine with just having December being the only winter month and have more spring and summer time.

Wednesday December 18th

We've been having some troubles in the friendly frogs room this week with listening ears I think some might have been left at home. This week we've talked about how we should behave and listen so that Santa will keep us on the good list because when we don't follow directions that makes Santa sad.
Today we finished up our special projects for mom's and dad's and they will be in cubbies to take home along with a special gifts for your child.
I am hoping the weather isn't as bad as KCRG says with a wintery mix coming in on Thursday I don't want any bad weather before the holidays as it will keep some family from traveling in town. Christmas is coming up so fast and so is the end of 2013. With people being gone for the holidays the next two weeks we will not be doing a letter or number and will not have homework. We will resume our normal schedule January 6th. Hope everybody enjoys their gifts from the kids they enjoyed making them for you :) I loved everybody's Holiday clothes today

Children's Museum

We had a wonderful day! Our field trip was a blast all the friendly frogs enjoyed themselves.
We made some pizza's in the pizza shop, went Grocery shopping and checked out our Groceries at the Grocery store, Played on the pedal airplanes and went down the big slide, Played in the Barn area and the forest. When we returned to school everybody enjoyed lunch the spaghetti Ms. Marisa made was delicious everybody had seconds today! I took lots of pictures to share of our field trip hope you enjoy them.
