Things are changing... :)

It is amazing what a couple days with new friends, a new class, routine, rules and a new teacher can really do! Everyone was a little bit on the sleepy side today except our newest friend Nolan. He brought a lot of much needed energy to the class. I think these past couple days have been hard work for your kiddos but it sure does show. We are already getting into the groove of things and the routine seems to be sticking. On top of just getting the knack for the classroom their bubble centers and play time went much more smoothly today as their attentions lasted a little longer with each play time. Change can be good! Here is a sneak peek at our day....

During bubble time we work on our own to sort colors, shapes, patterns or in this case bugs! Aiden is doing GrEaT!!

We have been exploring our math center a little this week. We started off with some frog number matching but the class has shown NO interest in doing it even with my help so we have tried a few different things to see what they are willing to work at and enjoy. Today we did some shape puzzles. They actually had a lot of fun with this one, including Jade and her shape puppy!

After just a few days our friends are mastering the block towers! It takes some patience. Allie built this one all by her self!! I think their favorite part is when it falls though!!

I'm not sure if it was because it was Friday or they were sleepy but the silly's were all over the classroom today! Madox was dancing a little Irish jig while making ice cream at our kitchen center today!

Here is the class's favorite center today! On average there were usually 4 friends here. They must really love to cook!

We took a special time to work with our names again today! Today's task was to hold the markers nicely as they traced over their special name letters. It was a success! As you can see Kinsley and all her friends were so proud of themselves. We will be working on this more!

All week we have been singing 5 Green and Speckled Frogs and today we finally made our speckled frogs at art. Nolan was concentrating very hard on his!

Have a great weekend and we will see you next week!!!!
