This new fall weather on top of normal kiddo germs has spread a major case of the coughs around the frog room. Please help us keep our room as healthy as possible this fall/winter and practice lots of good cough covers (use your inner elbow) and good washing at home as well! The more practice the more routine it becomes! We have also been practicing on how to blow/wipe our noses then wash afterwards. Practice, practice, practice!!
We had a great start to our fall week and the weather turned out to be perfect fall weather too! We started our day off with a fun leaf search so we can examine and use them through out the week. There were not too many but enough for what we need of them! We had fun learning all about what happens in the fall including things like; the leaves change color, they fall of the tree, the colors of fall are brown, yellow, orange and red and that the weather gets cooler! We learned a few more things too but this is what really stuck out them! Our question of the day asked what our favorite fall color was ....BROWN won! We started our new centers today too! The class really enjoyed our fall colored rice and measuring spoons at science. They were counting scoops to fill one spoon with another! We also did cup stacking for letter Cc week and kicked off our fall week of art with leaf rubbings! Here is a sneak peak into our class...
