Apple Orchard Day

What a great day for a field trip! It was hot but there was a nice breeze!!! We had so much fun learning about how apples grow, how to pick them and the different trees that grow them! They even have kid size tress to make sure the kiddos can reach to pick their own apples! Not only did we get to learn about the apples we also took a hay rack ride to see the bee hives and all the apple trees around the orchard. It was a little bumpy but so much fun! We also learned a lot about bees and how important they are to community and the nature around us. We even got up close and personal with a few through a small hive....protected by plastic of course! It was so much fun! Make sure to check your child's cubby for a special apple they chose too!
